The DRFC traveled down to Providence, Rhode Island for a contest against Brown, emerging with a victory of 41 - 10. Dartmouth came out strong early with Jack Badenhausen ’19 diving into the try zone following a couple of offloads and a strong run by co-captain Oliver Engelhart ’18. Minutes later Mason Koch ’20 would chase down a kick down the sideline and kick the ball an additional time before dotting it down in the try zone. Patrick Sheehy '20 converted on both of the early tries to make the Dartmouth lead 14 - 0.
Later in the first half, Dartmouth would find themselves within Brown's 22-meter line, and Koch would break through the Brown line for his second try of the day, extending the Dartmouth lead to 19 - 0. Immediately after, Dartmouth once again took advantage of a red zone opportunity moving the ball wide before Engelhart would pick and go straight into the try zone. Dartmouth ended the first half with a 24 - 0 lead.
At the start of the second half, Brown’s fullback made a great individual chip and chase effort to score Brown’s first points of the game, and close Dartmouth’s lead to 24 - 5. But, Luke Bienstock ’20 would respond with two consecutive tries, both a result of hard, physical running through contact. Toward the final minutes of play, Brown was able to score another try. However, Dartmouth responded when Parker Hall ’20 broke through the Brown line for the last try of the game to make the final score 41 - 10, Dartmouth.
